    Get in touch with me through filling out my contact form + sending me an email. You can tell me all about the two of you + your beautiful, crazy + unique love story. Let me know your event date, location + any other things you think I should know! This is a space where you can ask me all the questions you want as well, but be sure to check out my FAQ first to see the answers to my most commonly asked questions. I’ll get back to you within in 48 hours to say hey, answer all your questions + ask you a few questions to get to know you even better. After this initial contact we can set up a time to talk on the phone before booking if you would like.

    Once you guys pick out the wedding collection you think best fits your wedding day needs + decide to book, I’ll send over a contract for you both to read over + sign. Then once it’s signed I’ll send over a retainer invoice for you to pay within 3 days. Once the contract is signed + retainer invoice is paid, you’ll officially be on board with Kortni Maria, LLC!!!

    Once you’re all booked, we’ll set up a day + time to schedule your complimentary engagement session on! You will tell me which month or season you’d like your engagement photos in + I’ll give you a handful of dates I have free. Then you’ll choose the one that aligns best with both of your schedules! I’m open to any location idea + want you to give me an idea of what you both like. I want the shoot location to be totally you two + not force anything on you guys. After the engagement session, I’ll send over a sneak peek of the images within 48 hours of our shoot + then the full gallery in 4 - 6 weeks.

    When I say I'm all yours, I mean it! You're not just another client to me + I hope you don't view me as just another vendor. I truly want your wedding day to be as perfect as possible! Need recommendations for other awesome local vendors? I'm are here to help. Feel free to email me at any time with questions. That said, since you're booking me in advance, there may be periods of time when we don't chat regularly - and that's okay! I have a few check-ins planned to help with the planning, and I'm always just an email or text away! When your wedding day finally rolls around, you deserve to relax + enjoy yourselves. Marry your best friend + party hard with all your closest friends + family! So about 2 months before the wedding, I'll be in touch with a questionnaire. This will help me get an idea of all the special touches you're planning to make sure I don't miss anything important. I'll also use this to help craft your customized wedding day timeline in a way that gives me plenty of time for photos. And last, your final payment will be due a month prior to your wedding date. I'll send you an invoice so that you can easily pay it.

    The day is finally here!!! We’ll already have a wedding day timeline made up + I’ll know right where to be at each specific time – ready to capture all the big + little moments of your special day. I take my job as your photographer seriously (and let’s face it, hire me and you’ll have an extra bridesmaid who happens to be holding a camera!). I'm there to get you drinks + snacks when we are taking your couple portraits, hold your bouquet + dress when you're walking around, wrangle your family + bridal party for all their groups portraits – you name it + I'm on it. I'm not only there to document your day, but I'm also there to make your day more relaxed + get to know your family + friends. You can expect me to show up 15 minutes early + then check in with you guys to make sure I’m good to leave (sadly) when the time comes! After the wedding day, I’ll send over a high-quality sneak peek of the images within 48 hours of the event + then the full gallery in 12 - 16 weeks.

    DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WORK?
    A.
    Anywhere + everywhere! I'll be wherever you + your love are ready to capture every moment in a heartbeat. All travel costs, including mileage, ferry fares, airfare, lodging + rental car are covered by my clients. I work with flat fees + mileage fees to accomodate most travel. However, please inquire for more details + options. I offer a complimentary 100 miles there + back (200 miles round trip) of driving with any of my elopement + wedding packages! However, after the complimentary 100 miles though, I charge $.50 per a mile.

    DO WE GET ALL OF OUR PHOTOS?
    A.
    Yes, of course! The only photos I do not deliver is ones where you are blinking, ones that are out of focus or any unflattering photos that I know you won’t have any desire to have. I shoot about 50 - 75 images per an hour, but it depends on what is going on during each hour. I do not limit how many photos you receive. If it’s a good photo with a good moment, you will receive it!

    HOW LONG UNTIL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
    A.
    I'll send you high quality sneak peeks within one week of your wedding, elopement or session! You should expect around 16 weeks for your wedding or elopement images + 6 weeks for any other session images to be delivered via a beautiful online gallery where you can download all the high-quality images.

    DO WE OWN THE PHOTOS YOU TAKE OF US?
    A.
    Yes + no. You have all the rights to share the photos online + with your friends + family + print as many as you'd like for personal use! However, I own the copyright to all the images. My contracts describe this in detail, but that means you can't use the photos to make money at all.

    HOW DO YOU KEEP OUR PHOTOS SAFE?
    A.
    I do my very best to back up my work + keep all of your precious memories safe. I shoot to two memory cards at the same time during your session / wedding / elopement to make sure I automatically have backups right away! When I get home from a session I immediately backup all the images to 3 separate quality hard drives.

    WHAT'S THE VALUE OF HAVING A SECOND SHOOTER IN OUR WEDDING PACKAGE?
    A.
    Having a second shooter gives you even more images overall. It also allows me to get a few unique perspectives of your big day + to be in 2 places at once if the timeline requires!

    DO YOU CHANGE YOUR EDITING OR SHOOTING STYLE FOR EACH CLIENT?
    A.
    I don't change my shooting style or editing style for any client. The reasoning for this is that I want my clients to hire me because they love my work + art as a whole, not just pieces of it. I stay true to my brand, what you see is what you are 100% going to get. Time of year + lighting situations of course affect final images making them warmer, brighter, darker more colorful, etc. but for the most part my images all have the same look + feel.

    DO WE PROVIDE FOOD FOR YOU AT OUR WEDDING?
    A.
    For weddings over 5 hours, I do require that you provide at least one hot meal for me. This is important so that I stay alert, energized + happy! I do not require you to put me on your seating chart, but I do really appreciate it when my clients do!

    DO YOU MEET WITH YOUR WEDDING + ELOPEMENT CLIENTS BEFORE BOOKING?
    A.
    Sorry, but I don't. I want you to feel impressed + ready to book from the moment you land on my website, see my work and read about who I am online! I dedicate my time to booked clients. However, I am available to chat on the phone before you book to get to know you + answer any questions you might have! Once you book, we can meet at the engagement session!

    DO YOU HAVE BUSINESS INSURANCE?
    A.
    Absolutely! I strongly recommend that you only hire a photographer that has business insurance. In fact, a lot of venues won't even let a photographer shoot there if they don't have it.

    WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
    A.
    Some of the absolute best in the industry! All of my gear is extremely high quality. 1. Canon EOS-R5 Camera Body (main) 2. Canon EOS-R6 Camera Body (backup) 3. Canon RF 24 - 70mm f/2.8 Lens 4. Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 Lens 5. Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 lens That's the basics, but I also have tons of camera batteries (charged + ready to go), 2 off camera flashes, tons of top of the line + fast memory cards.

    DO YOU INCLUDE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN YOUR WEDDING COLLECTIONS?
    A.
    Yes, I include a 60 minute long complimentary engagement shoot in each of my traditional wedding packages! The reasoning behind why I include the complimentary engagement session in my packages is because it gives me a chance to meet you ahead of time + you get to see how I shoot. I have found that this makes the wedding day so much more comfortable + easy!
