This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to capture part of the love story between Pat and Mackenzie during their engagement session. We got the chance to witness a breathtaking sunset that seemed to paint the evening with pure magic, and I had so much fun getting to know them both throughout our session!
Our canvas was the stunning Button Bay State Park nestled in Vergennes, Vermont – just over the New York border. This location was truly perfect as we were standing in Vermont yet still had a view of the Adirondack mountains, a nod to Mackenzie’s childhood home as well as the destination for their upcoming wedding celebration at Jimbo’s Club at the Point in Brant Lake, New York ! For Pat and Mackenzie, nature wasn’t just a beautiful backdrop for our session, it was the foundation of their love story. Their journey together began in 2019 with a simple yet profound first date – a hike that laid the groundwork for their deep connection to the outdoors, something that remains integral to their bond.
The love between Pat and Mackenzie radiates through every frame captured that day, and I’m eagerly anticipating summer 2024 when I’ll have the honor of documenting the continuation of their beautiful story at their wedding. Plus, I’ll have the extra bonus of working alongside my husband, who will set the tone of the day as their DJ and entertainment for the evening. Any chance we get to weave our talents together is always so much fun and leads to an unforgettable celebration of love!
